- Do anybody else has the same problem as rayzkeee has? I mean GPRS and Internet connection problem?
- About mass storage mode, yes, for the MMCs more than 2GB it wont work, but this firmware has built-in auto-detect ability for SAMBA and TELNET, so I recommend you to use SAMBA for data transferring.

I've checked it again myself and it worked fine, what was your former firmware? may you please do a master clear and check it again? Do anybody else has this problem? (if yes please write about the version of your former firmware)

Actually I'm not planning to include Widgets to this firmware; about camera yes, it's the best camera among Motorola firmwares original cameras and so I've chosen it.

No, unfortunately it's not possible, but I've designed new font that is far more readable than the current one, for LTR Farsi, I think you Iranian friends will enjoy it in final release.

(FAQ sticky)To turn this feature on do the following:
1. Go to Messages ==> use the menu (at bottom left) ==> Service Setup ==> Info Services
2. You should see "Info Service Setup"
3. Switch Service to "On"
4. Select the "Active channel" bar and delete any channel that may be there already
5. Use Menu (at bottom left) to create a new channel with value 50.
6. Save and Exit.

It may take awhile before the tower information starts to be displayed (it took my phone a couple of hours), but you should see a third line under the date showing the location. (You will only see this when flap is open; flap closed does not show it).

Thanks the tower information thing is now working , even I seem to have some weird problem in connecting to the net, it worked fine in your previous firmware I used (extreme elite) since then the mobile net didnt work in other firmware and the problem continues , all the help line people cant figure out whats wrong with the settings

1- because of using the new kernel, this firmware would not detect under 1GB Memory cards, so if you are currently using this kinda
memory card, gotta apply this patch (actually you gotta flash to it, after extracting)to roll back the kernel to 2.3.8 version, by then it will detect your MMC. (thanks to shantanu)

I have a 512mb card. can you tell me the exact procedure to flash it

dude first flash ur a1200 with this f/w then it will not detect the 1gb mmc and second if u want ur phone to detect card of 1gb or below 1gb then flash with the sd patch provided by me

First of all flash to this firmware(Green PG16R) if it works with your 512MB memory so there is no problem, but if not extract that patch, you will have an SBF file like all firmwares, then simply flash your phone with RSD Lite, that's all

sec,there are few bugs,hopes you help to remove bugs
1.some applications cant run correctly,such as exzplayer,black list,as i could run correctly on your pervious version EE
2.when i tap and hold on a file.pop-up menu apears and then select openwith but it close and jump to menu!so icant choos openwith!
3.about gprs and internet connection,icant connect to internet i think it's a frimware bug!
4.battery life is not good,it eat my battery by 9hours!
every thing els is really good,and improved,please check if any one have same problem,and post to remove bugs

I have the same problem as rayzkeee with GPRS and Internet. My original FW was R541_G_11.56.11R and this was my first flashing. At the old FW Internet/gprs worked ok.

Have you any idea how to resolve this?

Having same problem as rayzkee too... I get the failure messages of can not connect to GPRS and Internet.. It however works fine on your pass firmware.

Looking like a great firmware, the silent is great (works on vibrate too, as it should)! Battery seems OK, I have been running for 8 hours and it still shows full so far, but too early to tell. Bluetooth seems good also, this is usually something I have issues with, most firmware’s have trouble reconnecting as I change between 2 Bluetooth items regularly (in car and headset) so far only WhiteMING2 has been good at reconnecting.

Some bugs/issues I have noted so far:

SD cards, 2, 4 & 8GB. After flash it did not recognise 2Gb SD Fat, formatted to 2 GB Fat32, still did not recognise, said no SSD card present. Inserted 8 GB, recognised card, but couldn’t access, said do you want to format, yes, format failed. Formatted in Windows, still not recognised. Tried 4gb card, formatted by phone, works fine. However, cannot access through phone on PC via mass storage mode, MPT also cannot access card either. I can remove the card, use card reader, transfer files, phone then sees them (I am unfamiliar with Samba or Telnet)

User 1 & 2 missing from menu, you can install java and mpkg apps to them, but they do not appear in apps menu and the installed apps are not in All, you have to install them in one of the four categories available for it to appear as an icon. Hidden somehow? Mpkg installer working well.

Tower information, I have tried turning this on, deleting channels and a master reset, but cannot get it to work. When I go to delete, each time it shows another channel, such as 21464, choose delete, and the number changes to 2845, delete that and it returns to 41765 or a constant array of different numbers! When I try and add channel 50, it comes up with a message “channel50failed to add”
