Well, I installed your firmware release yesterday, and I will try to give a good description of my experience/thoughts.
Installed monster pack on a A1200R/previous firmware was Amins EE.
I want to specify that the 3-5 second call delay was present upon first firmware flashing. I then flashed to Captivus, which to my disappointment, made the time/date completely useless as I couldnt even open the Time app.
So, I flashed back to Hibrida e16Xr_a1200ER, this being second time I flashed to this firmware, i checked the call delay issue, which, upon my surprise was completely absent! I thought, it might just be a 1 time thing, so calling to and from my mobile quite a few times (10 or so to be approximate), the call delay is non existent! And, yes, is still functioning correctly today.
Also, I get the best reception I have ever had with this firmware. In my location (home) i used to get 3/5 bars, or less sometimes. With this firmware, I get a constant 5/5 bars, only fluctuating to 4/5 bars when moving from room to room. This, is a major +plus+ for me!
On a side note: Edge was enabled by default each time I flashed to this firmware.
The only issues I am having with my own personal useage are listed below.
- Unable to edit silent and vibrate modes (silent mode is totally silent though, only vibrate has the touch screen sound and keypad sound enabled)
- QEZXPlayer is not working on this firmware for me.
- Backlight begins to flicker @ 24% or less
- Vibrate and Ring Loud was a bit buggy, it may vibrate and 1-2 seconds later start ringing, or it may ring and start vibrating 1-2 seconds later. It may also give just one constant vibrate and no ring, or it may ring and no vibrate. This is my primary Ring Style, so I have not checked the other ring styles. (Upon second flash of Hibrida e16Xr_a1200ER, this anomaly was not present... just like the 3-5 second call delay.)
