Until the full bugs are solved, i suggest you prepare an hybrid firmware.

My review:
The firmware is very fast and stable, nice skins and fast menus.
Recording with flip closed is excellent, but it records with 180 degree angle (in order to record correctly you need to turn around your phone). I have send an email to Rami Levy from Motodev to check if engineers could help us in this subject. Voicenote application could NOT save in memory card (MMC Unpluged? error)

Meanwhile, i suggest you could prepare an hybrid. Keep the A1600 SDK and change the camera and libraries from A1200 firmware. Maybe we could take photos and save videos with flip closed jeee.

If this minor problems are solved, i think this is the best firmware for our phone.

Suggestion: Replace the bugs with A1200 applications. (voicenote, camera and all libraries). I think the libraries are the problem, as A1600 has autofocus and panorama.

If we replace in this firmware the camera + libezxcameraengine.so.1.0.0 + libezxcamera.so.1.0.0 with the A1200 version, maybe we solve this problem of the photos??? (same for voicenote bug).

Someone please post the script (.LIN or .SH) to preload as tmp_do suggest: just copy in mmc binary camera, LD_PRELOAD libezxcameraengine.so.1.0.0 libezxcamera.so.1.0.0

AHH, also the FMRADIO is NOT working without the headsets. So, maybe we could include the AMIN version that works.

EMAIL Application is also not working , it says an error and closed.

no. in ming camera's hw send data in jpeg, but in a1600 data is raw or other. i dont know. we need a1600 cameras sdk

After 24 hours testing it:

Advantages:
1) I notice bluetooth aplication is better than previous A1200.
2) It is possible to use the video recorder with flip closed (best advantage)
3) Fast and stable firmware with nice skins

Disadvantages:
1) It is Edge enabled. And i have some antenna problems and connection problems.
2) FMRADIO is not working without headsets.
3) Mediaeditor missing, EMAIL Application not working and camera is not working also. Yes, it uses RAW transfer in order to join the animated gif and panorama.

Conclusion: There are not any important SDK code added to the firmware. Seems the engineering team only update the necessary files to the A1600 features (GPS, bluetooth and camera), the rest is the same.

RESULT: Please, port the bluetooth application, the video recorder with flip-closed and the skins. The rest is useless.

Is it possible to add the video recorder with flipclosed to AMIN EE1?

I tested this firmware very nice,but no startup.txt which i use also very few flip closed options. I like most of the firmware but skin installer is not working an this is a must for me also boot image is the same as the on/off gif which dont look clear. If these things could be fixed i would use this firmware. Good work

Yeah no answer txt or call turn bluetooth on or things like that with the flip closed.

startup.txt is replaced by autorun.txt (same function).

I think that bluetooth and the video recorder with flipclosed are the top advantages (apart from gps).

I will prefer to port them to AMIN version until we investigate the problem of the 180 degree video and camera.
