Here's a link to the newest f/w for the A1200E - R541_G_11.56.14R. As a bonus its cracked so as to allow mpkg installers!!!

• Unlocked
• CM Branded (easily gotten rid of with Theme install)
• *Update* VR is MUCH upgraded over the stock 11R!

Hi,

I bought my a1200e and the celphone came w/ the A1200E - R541_G_11.56.11R firmware that doesn't allowed me to change anything in the phone. The only thing I could do was install java based programs. Even connect to the Motorola Tools was impossible w/ this fw.

Recently, I updated to the A1200E - R541_G_11.56.14R fw and I'm verry happy about it! I have installed everything I need in the phone and now can access and change all necessary stuff in the fone.

Some features that I found important to this upgrade:
- Permits installation of MPKG.
- Fixed voice recognition problem (I use the phone in portuguese).
- Connection to Motorola Tools enabled.

Some issues or problems that I found:
- Can not use voice recognition w/ the flip closed.
- Business Card Reader is not working.
- SMS messages doesn't show the name of the person who sent the message. (maybe because my system send the number adding the arrea number)

For now it is what I found, if anyone know how to fix problems, it would be a great help.

Hi,
I also have the 11R fw on my phone. Its very stable and has a nice-clean visual but It´s blocked to install new apps and the battery taks only 2 days. And why have a smartphone with you are´n able to install new applications?

So I decide to update the fw but I want to keep the phone stable.
Is an official firmware recomended in this case?
Is this firmware (A1200E-R541_G_11.56.14R) official? Where Did you get it?
And about the 16R firmware. Is it official and better than 14R?
