    I've got an issue with this firmware, it's been good so far, but when I get a SMS the name of the sender isn't shown, I've tried the fix for the number prefix (suggested in GUIDE TO MODDING YOUR A1200) but I can't get it to work, is there anything I can do to fix it?

    I can't connect A1200 to PC, windows don't recognize my a1200.
    Please tell me what can I do?

    thanks

    I'm testing this now, only problem I have so far is a weak RF. I had 11.56.11R BP originally, with an AP from Amin's El Durado, it had a stong RF. Not sure if it is the AP or BP that controls the cell radio RF. I can probably boost the RF with RadioComm. Menus on this FW are super fast and the camera is probably the best yet (higher framerates), not sure on battery longevity yet. PKG and JAVA .jar files install easily. Ugly China Mobile icons though. No EQ on Realplayer. Camera autosave yes and no sound option yes. This FW is a full flash of both AP and BP.

    Default MPKG Install under R541_G_11.56.14R

    Greetings,

    I am new here, I just bought an A1200e a month ago, a new one with R541_G_11.56.14R firmware installed default and I would need some help about installing .pkg files.
    I've tried several MPKG installers read about here in the Motorolafans forum, but none worked. I just read that my firmware has a built-in MPKG installer and it seems to be true, as if I tap on a .mpkg file it throws up the installation window, although it can do nothing with the .pkg files for A1200 if I simply rename them to .mpkg. The ScummVM wiki said I should rename the files from .pkg to .mpkg. (at least in the case of the scummvm.pkg for ezx)
    Is there anyone know anything about this issue? Does this firmware requires different .pkg files, as I cannot use the default .mpkg files either (usually those are for magx not ezx). What should I do to use this capability of the phone?

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    Richard

    Hi!
    @bwanamon
    In original R541_G_11.56.14R firmware .mpkg installer not works. Mpkg installer only works in cracked by yan0 version! (1page)
    I recomment to change the firmware!
    Bye
