[APP] Barcode Reader

I just discovered this new app on my phone after flashing it with a new fw...

I'm 50 yrs old and first of all have never seen a barcode like that in my life here in the US.

Here barcodes are just that... BAR codes.
In a long bar type line... not squares.

And just what would one need or use this for on their phone?
(A guy working for UPS loses his scanning gunb and uses his phone...?)

I don't get it.
And I tried a few standard barcodes and it doens't work...
So... what's the big deal about it, and what can I use if for?

Because this type of Barcode is used on Chine. A1200 was released for chinese market.

...And so why would anyone other than a retail store clerk or shipping dept. person need a barcode scanner on their phone...?

The barcode provided in some firmware versions works fine.
It reads different barcode standard.
Plz try read this code:

But I was in a deep truble trying to navigate into chinese language.. any chance to have it in english?

In many Asian countries, as part of whatever, they have these style of bar codes on the inside of boxes and things, as a game or just a way to send messages. Maybe not needed, but why shouldn't we do things that aren't needed but fun?
