Hey bragon, what do you mean by untar the attached file and none of the attached files have a .system folder. where can i get that.
I have been trying to install the iphone theme for the last 5 hours but the mpkg on my phone just won't open anything. I have a R5232_C2 or 25p. what can i do? Please help.
I wanted to put a quick post here to note something discussed elsewhere on the forums: several of us who have recently bought Mings have received models with the 0.9R firmware. None of the MPKG variants posted so far work with this firmware, it seems, and so I am appealing to Yan0 or Bragon or one of the other MPKG gurus: can someone figure out a MPKG solution for us please?
You need an app that can untar files. 7-zip works on the PC (see Guide to Modding sticky for link) or SmartAsst works on phone itself....am having so much problems to uncompress them!!

I think this is the Russian language firmware only sold in Russia. If so, there will be almost no experience in rest of world as to what MPKG installer runs on it. I would suggest doing a search on our sister Russian site http://motofan.ru/

Hi, I have a A1200E phone, I've already installed SmartAssistant and many pkg apps. The problem is that now, I have to install MPKG as well to install a "strange" pkg file. Is there any "clean" way to do it? Replacing the ".system" folder will result pretty much in a big mess for me since I've loaded the phone with lots of stuff.
Thanks.
