[APP] ZMPLAYER v1_2 - video player

I have been a happy user of the zmplayer v1.1, but I just cannot get v1.2 to work. It installs ok on my 53p firmware, but it will not play AVI file which v1.1 plays happily.

With v1.2, I got the menu to display and everything looks fine until the video file is played and nothing happens. Any idea why?

Thanks, i tested for some wmv file. This app is hard to play files more than 8MB size, it is better to play small file (less than 2MB). THis is the same problem with realoneplayer.
Do any one try to play a rm file which have more than 250MB in size with realoneplayer on MING ?

Does this player have Bluetooth capabilities yet?
Does any other players have bluetooth except for RealPlayer?
I'm getting "skips" and "glitches" from probably signal loss or buffer problems with my Motorola HT810 when I listen to mp3s on RealPlayer...
any suggestions anybody?

Hi,

I am trying to install the zmplayer. I've tried both v1.1 and v1.2 versions. I am facing same issues in both. If I try running it from the phone (after installation) it does not do anything. I tried to run it after telnetting into the phone. I am getting this message.

destroy ShareImage Object
UTIL_ShareImage::destroy()
UTIL_ShareImage::destroy() : data detched

The first line is printed on stdout and next two on stderr. I have tried setting the env variables mentioned in the README file. Still getting the same error.

Any idea what I could be missing?

i installed just fine... but when choosing to pick a video to play with zmplayer it brings me to a screen that says

Zmplayer: mplayer frontend
Please wait while mplayer process starts


it has been at this screen for 10 mins..=/
