im running 08p and it works great. did you install yano's mystuff on your phone? and are your sure you put the two files on the TF root?

Yeah I had everything where it needed to be. I think my startup.txt file got corrupted in wordpad, I re-downloaded and now its all good

did anyone succeed on installing on 53p generic? tried everything...installed yan0's mystuff....placed both files in the root of transflash.....still hasn't worked yet....

Tried everything suggested...nothing's working.
Can someone write a lin script which replaces the default font file (/usr/language/fonts/AMCSL.TTF) in the phone with the one on the TF root???

on second thoughts..maybe its not possible to do that with a file in use.. am i right??

I have seen people mention both startup1.txt and startup.txt. Which is it?. Also what tells the a1200 to actually execute this script? I have followed the instructions but no luck with generic 53p.

works fine for me make sure when you are placing it on the tf card you can see the hidden file and copy it to ..system directory and thats it
