Hello to all Members,

Here are all the dictionaries that i am aware of. I thought making them all organized in one thread will make things easier for all of us. Feel free to share any new dictionaries you find or have.

Cornucopia- An english dictionary http://cornucopia.sourceforge.net/

This is another english dictionary, This is the one i use, and i think its the best one overall.

Longman's Dictionary is a English to chinese dictionary.

The talking dictionary i havent tried out personally so i dont know what language its in, all i know is that its a speaking dictionary.

Hi I downloaded your english dictionary and I have put the jar file on my A1200 Ming using the MPT file transfer but it is not showing on the phone.
Any Ideas??

Don't use MPT for that (as MPT directs the files into the phone according to their properties into multimedia files, ringtones, contacts or etc.).
It's better to set your phone into USB mass storage mode and then put the file into a directory of your liking in the phone while connected to the PC.

Hi and thanks for the reply,
I did use the usb mass storage as I put all my files on the storage card.
I put the dictionary in my phone but when I went to the phone I could not see it listed.

Do you see it when you are viewing your card from the PC (not through the phone) or not?

How do you mean? I open up file transfer and put it across on to the phone.
It looks like its there but I cant see it on the phone.

I mean with windows explorer, when you go to the removable drive created when you connect the A1200 to the PC, do you see your file there? If so, then you should see it in the phone.

Windows explorer shows no removable drive.
How do I get it to show up??

well if its on your phone have you check to see if its in the file manager of the phone, if the file is there, just click on it to install. Then you should be good.
