[APP] Yan0's Mpkg Installer and LinLoader.mpkg

here is an A1200's Mpkg Installer and LinLoader from ccmove. every thing was change in A1200. look like it can install mpkg but it can not. first of all we install Mpkg Installer and install another like LinLoader.mpkg.

How to install A1200 Mpkg Installer.
1. extract Mpkg_A1200.rar and you 'll get .system folder. It's hidden folder If you cann't see try show hidden file.
2. copy .system folder into your transflash card in usb mode.
3. restart A1200. Mpkg Installer will appear in group 4

PS. all installed java will lost but not uninstall. you should remove them before do this.

How to use Mpkg Installer in A1200.
In A1200 Mpkg support is better than E680i but not full support like A780. we use yan0's Mpkg Installer to install mpkg package. and phone itself can uninstall mpkg. no AppName for mpkg application like E680i.

step to install Mpkg package is
1. rename package from .mpkg to .pkg.
2. open package with Mpkg Installer. and wait for beep sound.
3. restart phone. (can not change icon order only restart)

and about LinLoader in A1200.
LinLoader is need for running .lin script in file manager. no need for any mpkg application. but we can install it by use yan0's Loader_A1200.mpkg it install by pkg Installer.

Yeah~ I've installed both already and these programs are important for MING to load 3rd party program.

but not all mpkg can use on this right. a1200 CardRegistry last time was InstalledDB or something?

i tried this method, everytime i try running Mpkg, it dosn't load up..or am i doing something wrong

i try Mp3player, screen capture, .. all can install but can't start.
no problem found with this mpkg. It's for A1200 only

Folks, same here... I can install apps but do not run them.

yep., GUI library in A1200 was changed. It's not the same as A780/E680i.

I got PKG installer and used PKG installer to open Loader_A1200.mpkg


For the really newbies out there, it's just as eakrin explained:

Once you got the PKG installer installed....
0) To know if you have the MPKG installer installed correctly make sure that you see it in your programs list on your cellphone.

1) Copy Loader_A1200.mpkg to your cellphone's TransFlash using USB Storage mode. Don't forget to rename it to Loader_A1200.pkg

2) Once you did that, using the File Manager in your cellphone, navigate to where you placed the Loader_A1200.pkg file. I put the file in my TransFlash under a MyFiles directory that I created.

3) On your cellphone, click and hold on the Loader_A1200.pkg file until you see a contextual menu popup. In the contextual menu, you should have a "Open With" choice.

4) Click on "Open With" and go choose the MPKG installer. Once you did that, you'll hear a "beep".

5) Restart the cellphone and you should see "Loader" in your programs. It has a smiley face as program icon.
