Yes, its a little bug with the website when using internet explorer. It is being worked on, and should be fixed soon. I suggest for you to use firefox for the moment.

However, I'm still not understanding how to install these downloads. I believe while reading through one of the stickies it said specifically not to use MPT to install (or copy?) these files. So then if not using MPT to transfer the files from PC to phone, how else can you do so?

How did you all go about copying your file, placing it in the TF memory card? Obviously using the USB cable to get the information from computer to phone, but what steps and programs did you access to transfer?

Set your A1200 to USB Mass Storage Mode and connect to your PC. Then you'll see the transflash as USD Storage Device on your PC. You simply copy the unzipped files to Transflash, no special tools required.

I am getting a similar message and can not figure out how to resolve. I have since reformatted my microSD card and extracted out the files again to no resolve. Ideas? Thoughts?

I just got a 2nd A1200 for my dad and 1st i flashed it with the new .06P and the tryed to load MPKG and it is not working all i get is invald applicaton file. File can not be used. Now i know i did thing the same as my 1st phone i even try copying the .system folder from it and use the one listed and i get the same error Can some one please help. Should i reflash with lower FW and try it what do you think???

Have you tried with 08p firmware? or the plus firmwares?
