I keep one costum version of whiteming (jffs2) so I can make all I want (delete or add new applications, ecc.).
In standard firmware we cannot delete original piseledit but only hidden (UserMenuTree), I prefear keep the two inside my firmware.
About PigNic's first question I don't keep chinese so maybe the font or can try look for .qm or ...
I think we can try running the application with ekonsole (also with strace) and look for the error.

Ok "BruceLee", i found another file of picsel edit that works with my phone, but, i still doesn't know how to do to edit word and excel files. can you do it?? i just can use zoom and change the page. i saw the help inside the program, but i can't make it possible. thanks.

Where did you find a working version? This version doesn't do anything when I open the installed file. My firmware somehow doesn't have the built in reader, so I have no reader software available.

running: 11.10.54R or 11.54.22p, depending on which number I'm supposed to look at. Simplified Chinese language.
