2. you are totally confused, the procedure is to edit the cardregistry is for Mediaeditor (or photoshop) (for editing images), that you've mixed with Editor (this is the post, to edit text files), also you've added in the pkg the Photoshop files.

3. The contest.desktop is wrong (or copied from Wondermmoto from CM) so it does not work the app

4. Missing libraries, even if the app would be well written, there aren't enough libraries to make the app work

5. if you want to upload files, do it in the forum itself as attached file.

6. point 6 doesn't exist

7. editor.conf file is good translated...to Portuguese

Adorei este programa e com isso busquei varias formas de conserta-lo para funcionar em outras firmware!!

1º Realmente foi um erro meu, deixar os arquivos originais do mediaeditor, mais precisa da linha de código dele! mas não usei nenhum contest do wondermoto, apenas fui modificando os arquivos originais do mediaeditor, pois estava tentando entender como coloca para funcionar a função montar os arquivos, como ocorre no mediaedito!
Eu errei, pois deveria ter apagado os arquivos originais dele, fiz varias modificações e errei pegando uma modificação antiga!
Por isso você viu esses arquivos.
Mas se testar esse ai que postei funciona normalzinho, sem mais nenhum problema
3º As libs que vem nele são obrigatorias para o programa funcionar em outras firmwares! Foi dificil mais achei as que o programa necessitava!

Vou postar a modificação mais atual que fiz, sem erros de arquivos absoletos!
100% funcionando, ele monta os arquivos e depois de fechar o programa ele desmonta!!
Só assim a firmware não fica instavel!!

Importante na hora de instalar

1º Instale o aplicativo normal

2º Abra o CardRegistry com o Wordpad (ñ use Bloco de Notas)
Caminho: mmc/mmca1/java/CardRegistry
Aperte Crtl+F para procurar a palavra "mediaeditor1", desça um pouco e mude usrezx = ezx para usrezx = root
Pronto, esta pronto para ser usado

Vantagens:
- Abre arquivo de tamanho ilimitados, o editor normal só abre arquivos menores que 17 kb, ótimo para guadar textos grandes e editar arquivos do sistema.
- Abre e edita arquivos do sistema, podendo fazer modificações no celular mesmo, por exemplo cfg, lin, sh
- Tem as melhores e novas codificaçoes padrões
- Tem sistema de Visualização, podendo variar o tamanho das letras.
- Pode-se salvar o arquivos em outros formatos diferentes de txt.

Importante: Está em Pt-Br se quiser na linguagem inglês basta substituir o arquivo editor.conf pelo original, da versão sem modificações e que está em inglês

ok ... for ppl who can speak english , here is a version compatible with all f/w's that don't use "mount --bind" comand (Portugese robertfsousa version) for mount the libs. so the system don't get unstable (you can have an app runinng in backgruond; if mount --bind command uses with this libs, the app crash)

Such a large file, well for a phone's editor.. Though I never used any mount command with this (first post) editor, unless our Portugese friend was referring to something there - I wouldn't know. Thanks, I'll give this a try.

Please try "editor_e6", Maybe it works on earlier-a1200.

Note: Attachments are native elf files, not pkg,
btw, "editor" can work well without the "Caption" section, and now it's english.

yes, it works the e6 editor, but it doesn't open txt file from "open with.." menu
