Default APP: MPLAYER 5 (Last one with WMV & FLV support)

    Hi,

I would like to share the latest version of "MPLAYER 5" series with:

    Added:
SD/transflash mini browser and now supporting the common WMV (windows media video format) and FLV (flash format), apart from the usuals 3GP, mp4, etc.

I have test the WMV and audio & video works ok.

I dont know if it was posted before, but this is a superb player (with the joystick and keys you could change sounds,etc.).

Very slow to load the video compared to Zplayer 1.2 so I don't really know if the video is beginning or not, but it s quite fast to go fast or rewind.

I don't know what to do when I want to stop the video

Well it s not very good , Launching the videos is too odd...

EDIT : You have to push a long time ( around 2 seconds and release and the video begins)

I did some test : FLV / AVI vidéo work badly in Mplayer and not on Zmplayer

WMV , doesn't work on both except for the sound
MP4 work on both and perfectly , sound is good
AVI work but the frames are slow , I don't know why but we can't see subtitles in ZMplayer. And there is no external file , only one video ...

3GP works on both but have no sound
and Mov don't work properly , video is very very very slow and sound always jump every second.

My conclusion is they are the same except for zMplayer who cannot read subtitles on a video I don't know why , maybe there was a zoom I didn't see.
But Zmplayer is much more easy to use and fast.

It was my little review , I hope it ll help. But the thing to remermber is Ming like MP4 files

Real player is better to play MP3 i think ^^

I tried to put MPEG files and Mplayer work perfectly and Zmplayer doesn't work at all.

So I think MP4 files should be watched with Zmplayer and MPEG and AVI files should be watched with Mplayer 5.

But it's still not as good as VLC which is not on Ming
I love my Ming , he is still the one for me

nice to have a new version but it looks like i'll still stick with qezxplayer as it has much better run speed than this version of mplayer
