[APP] Boot Image Changer

Thanks to nodramachicks, AKSD and me of course. This Application automates the commands to change your phones boot image as described in Section "Q" of the Guide to Modding

How to install:
It's a normal .pkg app so it's easy to install for details about this read stickies.

How to use:
-Browse your phone's memory by the default browser and open the desired gif image with BootImg.
(don't check the Always use this app.... thing)
-It will ask if you want to apply it as boot, click yes
-It will ask for reboot, click yes if you want to see the result.

i am on amins ee c2 track. i installed this app, help on .gif file and chose open with Bootimg. it asked if i want to make it the startup image...i clicked yes, asked to restart...i clicked yes but nothing changed. tried another restart and nothing changed? is nice but the splash installer is pretty easy too and that changes startup and shutdown images...thanks

i tried it and it doesnt work? what am i doing wrong i opened my .gif image with the program and it still boots as default (amins pergeo thing however u spell it apologies amin).

still not working... i tried to use different gif animations just to make sure app works, but no luck.

pfffff... you still don't understand... it must be a static gif not animated

oops sorry.. i actually meant gif image only. when i open gif image with this app, nothin happens. app doesn't start at all. what to do? i dont know how to use ekonsole either (nvr used linux in my whole life, so no idea about commands)

did worked this time. but i used a 35kb gif file, and now only half of the gif image is showing up. in the bottom part, a black strip is there. don't know why? may be becuase of its size or what? and while switching off it does not shows up at all, just the animation is played and thats it. unable to understand the logic of that.

the gif won't appear when swiching off because the original one didn't. more infos about this can be found in the linked topic from the first post
