i got it installed i just dont understand what some of it is. like time speaking...i also set a task(ringer alert style) and nothing happened...??? can u change the ring for the alarm?

To change the ring, you must enter the ALERT STYLE option in the config of the phone (where you change the ringtones).

SPEAK option, it is to automatically activate an MP3 on each hour (phone talks automatically.. it is .. 2 AM...) Works perfect
The mp3 inside are in chinese right now, you listen a chinese girl jee. (it will be fixed soon).

Hi Even i have same problem, i cannot get english translation.
I installed this new unix version, & when i run alram.fpkg with "FoxSetup" i saw some chinese popup with "startup" word in it. and only one option (may be "OK")
I still see chinese. plz help me to get english version.

this is what i noticed :

on installing foxalam it was in chinese.
After installing foxsetup and alam.fpkg it was in english

is there any order in installing these things. since i
1) installed FoxAlram.pkg
2) then FoxSetup.pkg
3) opened AlramLib.fpkg with FoxSetup app, which showed a 1 popup in chinese with startup & Ok button
4) FoxAlarm is still in chinese

I confirm and acknowledge the problem. I follow the exact steps that Droopy mentioned and everything is in chinese. Guys, how come some of you DO get to see english? Quite a mystery.. Droopy, any suggestions?

Check Post 1. Install that version.

Installation is very simple.

First install foxalarm.pkg, then re-load the menues and check for the foxalarm icon on the phone.

Then, install foxsetup as a normal pkg. Reload menues, check for the icon.

Finally, locate the other file. Keep the stylus for 5 seconds above it, and a new menu appears... CHOOSE OPEN WITH.
And locate foxsetup.

Foxsetup will show a prompt with 2 (two) chinese options. Choose the LEFT one!!!!, the right one is cancel. Then, it will install it, and give you 2 more promts that you must push OK or the only option.

Thats all. Reload menus, and the english texts MUST appears.

i get an eror whn i try to instal alarmlib using foxsetup. smething in chinese with ! mark i can see onlySTARTUP.TXT in dat error msg
