doc ? i'm a little confused.
do you have A1200, A1200i, A1200r, A1200e?
You have to be able to open Word documents!
I opened one in this A1600 port and it worked, you said it didn't.

lol I mean about the microsoft word documents not the Doc. I was just using Doc as a EXAMPLE. My ? is wat type of microsoft word documents can picsal viewer view. does that make more sense

documents: doc, ppt, xls, txt, pdf (maybe others...)
images: jpg, png, gif...
web pages: html, htm
that's it as far as i know but there might be many others

i dont think the newly office suite documents (docx, xlsx) are supported by the default one i'll download and see what's with this A1600 version

i see no difference between this one and the original.
The only thing is in about where instead of 1998-2006 is 1998-2007. But i see no functionality improvements. if anyone knows exactly the improved things of this version please let us know.

MS Office documents were supported before too but the old format (.doc | .xls. | ppt).
I'm installing now Office 2007 and i'll check out the new extensions (.docx | .xlsx | .pptx)

I installed but functions almost like the old one.
Also, similar so post 9, the version no in default Picsel Viewer is greater than the one attached here.

Any idea about this.

Hi

I would like to share in .pkg format, the installation of the latest Picsel Viewer (A1600) on our A1200 phone (ported version).

It seems to have many new options and codecs. (I think it loads Excel and MS Word documents).

Hope someone post the upgrades from the old version.
