[APP] Linuxftp (Browse the A1200 from Internet Explorer)

Hi,

I would like to share this new application.
First in the config of the Phone A1200, look for: USB Mode, select USB NET
Then activate the software and plugin in your cable.

Open Internet Explorer (browser) or the standard file explorer and you will see the whole phone and memory card files without SAMBA or any telnet tool.

Finally enter: ftp://192.168.16.2

Works on A1200/E6/A1600

Hey, nice APP, too bad it's not translated.

If you take a look at /mmc/mmca1/.system/QTDownload/linuxftp there is a shell script ftpservice which does all the enabling/disabling and there is a showQ file which pops up simple dialog with YES/NO or whatever is writen there.

Is there anyone with knowledge in chinese (or at least I think that's the language) so he/she can help me translate the damn thing ...

This is really a nice APP but I like everything to be understandable for me .

Edit:
After digging around with HEX editor I found the following strings insite showQ. Turns out only ftpservice needs to be translated. So anyone willing to help out. It's really easy to translate this one

In order to install translation all you need to do is to copy ftpservice file from archive to /mmc/mmca1/.system/QTDownLoad/linuxftp and overwrite the original one. You do not need to restart your phone!

Thanx, I'll find it later on today. I know it's some combination of tar.gz or something like that cuz that's the way I got the files out ... but will read that thread!

Thanks man. Now I can load files and install while connected to the PC. Great for testing and modding applications. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DELETE THE WRONG FILES NOW.
