Today i was navigating on Chinese Ftp GPS sites, and i have found a working version of Navione.

It is the best selling navigation program on China for our A1200 Linux OS.

I have tested and works great, fast and with many options, but it is in Chinese language or i dont know the option to use english.

Seems it uses Teleatlas global standard maps, so maybe it is possible to include any other map from your specific country. Or maybe the PC / Windows Mobile version map is compatible.... lets check and try.

Any help on the translation please!!!

Just extract the .zip files to the mobile with mass storage. (copy the files inside not the directory that could overwrite yours).

This looks like a good app when they do a translation.

This works only by software or do we need a real GPS???

Navione is similar to Destinator GPS program. You need a Bluetooth compatible GPS receiver and your A1200 cellphone.

This software is Number 1 in China, and there is an option to have a 3d view!! of the map. But it is in chinese, lets see if we could translate it or maybe there is an option. Chinese people from the Forum please help us.

Actually the software uses China Continental maps.
But the software uses teleatlas map format (Careland Map format 2.7).

So, maybe it is possible to port maps from the PPC or PC version.

Navione 2.5 is out. (Size 800 Megas).
Unfortunately, it has only China and Hong Kong maps.
