On my firmware, the red button takes you to the App Mgr - not to Rockbox. I still have not figured out a way to get back to Rockbox after I have closed the flip. I have to reboot the phone to stop the app.

I dont have this problem if im running rockbox with the flip closed then open it all i do is tap the icon again it opens up.

For RockBox Portrait mode installation on A1200 / E6 ..it is not necessary to leave the RockBox folder in the root of SD card. Your original post is a bit misleading there.

actually on my A1200 is not working that way: if I remove the folder application fails to start.
I'm using Amin's Extreme and there's no way to remove it and let it work.
Inside it holds the .rockbox hidden folder in \rockbox\archos holding all the needed files; I don't know where it stores the datafiles but if there's the chance to move the .rockbox folder into .system or outside the main directory without impacting the functionality it would be great.

i did remove the folder after install and i couldn't get it to work again untill i replace the folder,, anyway when ever i use rockbox after playing some music if someone call me or i make a call i cannot hear anything untill i reboot the phone..

whenever i download a skin that support album art and when i apply album art is not showed!! any answer for this? or should test all of them in order to know if they work or not?
