ECap - takes screen shots on A1200/E6

Attached is a much improved PKG app for taking screenshots on your phone. This was posted at our sister Russian forum forum.motofan.ru translated to English by user ROMQA

It is a much better app than the previous Capture utility at this thread for following reasons:

• Much more control of taking photos - you can either set the time interval (2-99 seconds) or designate a "shutter" key (Volume down is default) that you press when you want to take the shot.
• Can take shots of just pieces of screen
• You can specify how may shots you want to take
• You can specify the folder that you want to store the shots in

Notes on Use

- Only seems to work on H2 track firmware (8p, 53p, etc)

- App will let you save shots as *.jpg, *.png, or *.bmp format

- There are no shutter sounds when you take pictures

- Default location for storing the shots is /MyScreenshots on SD card

- To take selected areas of screen, select "Shot Area" in setup screen. When you take picture using "shutter" key you can use the stylus to select the area to be captured (see second picture as example).

- When using Interval, just move to screen that you want to take shots of and wait. (There is no shutter sound). When all shots are complete a screen will be displayed stating capture is complete.

Note: There is a bug in current version in that it will take twice as many photos as you specify.

Doesn't work for me, it installs, but when I try to use it, dooesn't open anything...my firmware is 24XP.

Works fine on my 53P fw. I used SmartAsst to install.

Hopefully some other users with C2 fw will report in.

Doesnt work for me either, after clicking icon it doesnt load.
Installed with SmartAssist and running on 25P

it works great for me. firmware .08P. installed it with smartasst. also there doesnt seem to be a problem of the application taking twice the number of photos specified.
