FBReader - ebook reader for A1200

eug from forum.motofan.ru ported FBReader to A1200 for us.

Supported formats:
• chm
• docbook
• fb2
• html
• oeb
• openreader
• pdb
• rtf
• tcr
• txt

See post 14 below for the latest Version - Version 0.8.14 which now has normal touchscreen scrolling.

Instructions for Install

1. Download FBReader.tar.gz from post 8 or from HERE
2. Rename it to FBReader.pkg
3. Install using MPKG, Superman or Smart Asst

Same as FBReader for E680i/A780:
Volume up = Zoom in
Volume down = Zoom out

Thank You, works like a charm, I tried a Palm document and works just good. Is there any MS WORD reader that had zoom, rotate and word wrapping just like FBReader? ... Is the only I need to be complete...

Just convert your .doc to .rtf or .html and use FBReader to read.

I have problems opening little large text file on FBReader. It does show file has 364 pages or something but when i scroll after two or three pages, it just hangs. Nothing happens.

Thanks to eug for FBReader source. Keep open source software open! Actually I knew about this source from FBReader author (He is a Russian, too) and unbelievable he has A1200E with eug's FBReader port installed but not satisfied with FBReader icon set Since I am not an artist, feel free to make a new icon set for FBReader and post the results here.

Thanks for the app...it's great and works great...but if only it could support PDF ebooks..I'm still lookin for such app .
