pkg Invalid error. can anyone provide me any other link, or mail me the pkg file
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary,
over many a strange and spurious site of 'hot xxx galore'.
While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour,
" 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, "give me back my free hardcore!"

Resazani, I tried that little update you posted (the new volset.sh file) that displays a prompt whether the user wishes to restore the previous volume settings. BUT, I can't see any prompt or any difference from the previous version. All I can see in the app's main menu are options "old", "new" and "exit". Clicking on the "old" choice just restores the settings, no prompt however as seen on your posted screenshot. I replaced the volset.sh file in the volset folder in my TF. Am I doing anything wrong?

It's been said enough times previously in this post. Just remove the ZIP extension from the posted file. eg rename volset.pkg.zip to volset.pkg. The posted file is NOT a zip archive, it's been renamed like this so that it can be uploaded here.

i know that... i have tried renaming too. but pkg wasn't working still. anyways thanks for not explaining the reason, as i do know it already. And yeah, got that application from some one else. So, need not to worry.

You are right! I am sorry: one of the images that I had uploaded was from a slightly different "volset.sh" with a slightly different initial prompt. Thank you very much for your attention. I've upload the correct "volset.sh" in both posts #24 and #42.
BTW, nodramachicks did notice this problem and mentioned it in post #43, alas I didn't realize the problem then!

    Default A suggestion

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you run Volset after restarting the phone, the app displays the values that you chose the last time you ran it. But since the currently active values are restored back to the phone's default ones once you reboot, the app starts off displaying values that are quite misleading! Wouldn't it be much better if the app actually read the volumetable that's currently active and start off displaying these values instead?

It would be a lot easier to make a slight change to a value this way.

PS1. I use the "new" option from the main menu.

PS2. Rezasani, thanks for the prompt reply and correction of that little mistake. Great work.

Which super utility do you use in order to get the app installed on your phone? (eg. Superman, Super assistant etc) Since you got the app properly installed, you should be able to see it listed in the phone's app menu, probably under the "games" category.

    Hope I've helped...

PS. Rezasani, any thoughts / comments about my previous suggestion?

The idea behind the current form of Volset is that when you restart your phone and want to apply Volset again, it is most likely that you want to apply your previous settings which have been saved. In other words, you don't need to reset everything after each restart. However, I thought about applying your suggestion, but I realized that it is not as easy as it may seem.
