[APP] VolSet - increases volume on A1200

you know, i noticed that too but didn't realize that's what it was....my phone would just beep or buzz letting me know i'd missed an alert somewhere but i'd have to re-start to find out what it was....wierd

Today I realized that this bug is not related to using Volset. It is most probably a bug of our firmware (53P). Since I thought this is a Volset bug, I haven't been using Volset for quite a long time. But, today after restarting my phone, I got a warning (the "!" mark in the center of the tool bar), about a few old missed calls!
So, Volset is fortunately innocent !!

yeah, i think it was a FW/theme issue and as i've flashed to C2 track (Amin's EE) it isn't really an issue anymore (NOR do i need to run volset as the volume is great)....Great work and keep on modding!!!

Hi,
The best thing i felt was to have a look at the hfree settings and then change the values of the loudspeaker to a value little less than what is been set on the hfree section...

But the problem im facing is,am unable to figure out which one is the actual hfree that needs to be looked at..
eg
[pcap_mic_handsfree] OR
pcap_loudspk_hfree (These 2 being in the drfun_ezx_volumetable.cfg.4)
and the same ones even in the drfun_ezx_volumetable.cfg.3...
but with different values...
the one in the .cfg3 however are set to very low values than .cfg4
So which one is better to be altered?

Does anyone have an idea?

ok ,
so i went ahead and gave volset_mod_0.3 a try and
after installation even though i changed the value of loud spkr to +5 i was able to hear no changes to my audio???
What could be wrong?
my FW is .08p
do i need to change the values in the cfg3 file??

Please read posts #9 and #22, and install Volset 0.5 from post #24, and report volset.log after applying it.

Apparently the volset0.5 seems to be corrupt..
when i do a
#unzip volset-0.5.pkg.zip
This is what i get

latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of volset-0.5.pkg.zip or
volset-0.5.pkg.zip.zip, and cannot find volset-0.5.pkg.zip.ZIP, period.

Could you please re-upload?

ok so this one is really working!!
I am amazed by the quality of the sound o/p,
In fact the treble and bass seem as though they are out of a studio
No loss of clarity...

PS: I have kept the loudspkr vol to +5 hope its not too loud.
