First of all i am not author of this program..
I am sorry.....I thought you have created this app.

I think it's possible to remove apps that are listed in AllPrograms, there is no such option as such but its definitely stored in some conf file, just find out which one and u can do it..
I could locate only 1 file with the conf extension in the startmenu folder under the /.system/QTDownLoad folder but couldn't find anything pertaining to All Programs in that file.

also u can do a scan after installing new apps so that new app also comes under AllProgram menu
I forgot to mention about Scan. What does it do? Add new apps under All Programs? It doesn't do anything when I tap it. Neither does it add newly installed apps under All Programs. I found this out by installing MyStuff in my handset today but it didn't get listed under All Programs even after I tapped Scan (after restarting the phone).

Also I have 2 versions of the game named Sudoku installed in my handset but All Programs lists it 4 times!!
    Thanks,

    Ron

Default Startmenu - possible to autohide icon to the left or right?

I've been configuring this start menu program and would love to have the icon auto hide off the screen to the right. I tried changing "hideup" to hideright or hidert but neither worked. At one point in the older version the icon WAS autohiding to the right but I can't duplicate it again. Anyone know how to do this?

One other thing - when modifying the startmenu.conf file, I discovered (being Linux illiterate) that each line has to be "tabbed" over, not "spaced" over, in case anyone else is experiencing difficulties modifying the menus. I also discovered that creating a "small" version of each program's icon and saving it as suiteicon.png in each program's directory provides the necessary image for the menu. This is a GREAT application by the way, thank you so much for providing it. It certainly beats scrolling through endless lists of icons.

In the Menu, go to setting and uncheck STICKY. Once unchecked, drag the startmenu icon to the screen location, then re-check STICKY to keep it in its new location.
    I have v0.06 Build Dec 4 2007 , running 53P

I don't think I explained this properly. In this new application, Start Menu, an icon appears on the home screen. You can position it by the method above or by giving absolute coordinates in the startmenu.conf file (first line).

What I want to know is, this icon animates when you start any other program. In my case, it animates off the screen (still slightly visible) moving from its position upward. In the startmenu.conf file there are 2 parameters: autohide and hideup. I'm assuming the "hideup" is the parameter that tells the icon to animate upwards when another program is started. When the other program finishes, the icon animates back down to its original position.

My question is, "is it possible to have the icon animate to the right rather than upward?" As I stated earlier, I tried changing the parameter in the startmenu.conf file from hideup to hideright or hidert but neither worked. However, in a previous version, the icon animated to the right. I want to know how. What is the parameter to cause the icon to animate to the right rather than upward? Anyone know?

    to starkrav

    all options:
hide my programs (will not do scan when startup, takes less memory) : noprogram (v0.06)
hide my bookmarks (will not parse bookmarks when startup) : nobookmark (v0.06)
autohide or not: autohide noautohide (v0.05)
sticky or not: sticky nosticky (v0.05)
hide with direction: hidetop hideleft hidedown (v0.05)
startmenu will not hide to the right side.

Thanks vmlinuxx, I appreciate the feedback and understanding how the configuration works. It worked perfectly. Having the icon move the the left works fine for me, it's better than moving it up where it conflicts with other icons at times. Thanks again!
