[APP] NewMenu - creates new Categories in App Manager

NewMenu - allows you to add new categories under the App Manager

This application allows you do the following

• Add new categories to the list of categories that you can assign applications to in App Manager (eg Books, Maps, etc)
• Hide the User1 and User2 categories.
• Rename or delete any new categories that you create.

It does not allow you to modify or delete any of the native categories (ie Games, Office, etc).

I have Translated NewMenu From Chinese To English.. without even knowing chinese
a lot of hit and trial and finally this must have app on our E6 is now in English... Changed its icon also...
I have attached pkg file here..
Just remove ".zip" from it.. don't extract it..

U can make extra categories other then defaults..
Default are:
Office
Multimedia
Extra
Games
User1
User2

also If u want u can hide User1 and User2 categories..

and this skin is BackOffice

Hey, I flashed to Bint's 53, and it came with chinese categories. I was able to hide user 1 and user 2 categories but I was wondering if anyone can help me delete those chinese categories, because I'm hoping they were just added and are able to be deleted. My problem is I can't read or speak chinese so in the part where I have to type in the category I want to delete I don't know what to type in .

Hopefully someone can help me . Thanks!

I think the categories u r trying to change are the default ones (those that come with firmware). the default categories CANNOT be changed or removed (except users1&2).
if u want to get rid of chinese DEFAULT categories, i suggest u should be looking for a firmware change.

I didn't know because I installed the chinese version of the NewMenu, and after installing the english version I figured I couldn't change it.
