Amogi - Mosquito Repellent

Another fun little app from CCMove. When started this app produces a high pitched tone that supposedly repels mosquitos. It runs fine on A1200 - but no idea if it actually works!!

It is in Chinese - but simple to operate.

Download the file and unzip and install the jar file.

1. Start the app then just tap the button on the left (of the two buttons in Chinese). Do this 4 times to get the screen shown at right below. You will not hear the tone as higher than human ear can pick up.

The default is that it runs for 30 minutes. You are able to change this if you play around..

If anyone has a mosquito they can test this with - let us know if it works!

HAHAHAHA now thats a fun application. that means now we can take revenge from mosquitos by starting this application and running behind them to kill them. Mission accomplished. Over and out..

well, the application is very usefull when you are on a camp for instance.

I will test it near a river or on a camp and revert. I will install it and i will try to translate it to english/spanish.

seems 2 work although i havent tried it on mosquitos, my dog is definately not a big fan!

it KINDA worked for me. went to school today i got bitten a lot so turned it on. And it worked good but then i think some mozzies just ignore the sound and go for gold. but i like it

seems to bother my cats. i think they can hear it. maybe they just don't like the phone all up in their face

Well, tried with 3 cats, a spider, some flying bug that I don't know the name and finally a mosquito.

And... nothing really happened. Cats didn't seem to hear it at all, neither did the mosquito.

I was just wondering, maybe it's a deaf mosquito lol.

I will try later at night, when it's mosquitos' dinner time.
