Arrow [APP] MOTOID on A1200 - obtains names of songs

Translated from http://plusgsm.com.br/forums/showthread.php?t=32167 where a Brazilian user named juliansam posted the MOTOID application. He asked us to try it on A1200, and it worked perfectly (at least for me). I'll translate his post (relevant parts of it):

I searched the web for a way to install the MOTOID application on the Ming and I found a tutorial (for E2), so I downloaded it, adapted it for touchscreen use e for the Ming screen size.

Here is the link for the adapted application:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?bd1x4mwicq1

    1. Copy both the JAR and JAD files to your TF card.
    2. Install the application using the JAD file on your TF (not on phone memory).
    3. Connect in USB Mass Storage mode, go to the application folder (.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet200x) where "x" is the number of the application, check the "files" folder for the MotoID application if you're not sure.
    4. Using a compatible editor (NOT notepad), open registry.txt and modify the following settings:
    5. Change "DRM-Mode" to "Allowed" (DRM-Mode: Allowed)
    6. Change "Is-Trusted" to 1 (Is-Trusted: 1)
    7. Change "Domain" to "Trusted Third Party" (Domain: Trusted Third Party)
    8. Save and close.
    9. Unplug the phone, go to the Application List, select MotoID, hold the stylus on it, go to Manage - Permissions, change "User data read" and "User data write" to "Ask once per app".
    10. Plug the phone agani, open registry.txt again and configure "Domain" to "Operator".
    11. Save and close.
    12. Copy the information of a data profile that is working, create a new one with that information, name it "MOTOID". when the program asks for a profile, select this one.
    13. Reboot the phone (I had to do it in order for the app to load correctly).
    14. I also ended up usign the Java Hacker app by Dedraks by accident, but the program still works
Worked for a lot of people here in Brazil, and I must say its AWESOME.

PS: All credits to the original poster juliansam

This is an application that "Listens" to the music playing near the phone, and usign GPRS connects to a database, analyze the music and return the name of the music, the artist, and sometimes the album cover.

Motorola claims it will also provide links for products related to the music (ringtones, wallpapers, etc), but the name and artist is already great stuff for me when I can't remember the damn song name and/or artist.

    At any scrap paper available?
I mean to create another profile, exactly the same as your working data profile, and name it MOTOID.

It never asked me for a passcode. Have you followed all the steps and changed the "Domain" value correctly?
