If Backup is checked, program takes the original jar and creates jar.bak, (unmodified). The modified file and the one to load into the phone is the jar, (modified) file, not jar.bak, (original).

For touchscreen support, you must update the files from lubomyr's post #18. Choose, Motorola Touch Screen (Style 2), & 240X320. From www.getjar.com, get program KeyCodes.jar. Make a copy & try to adapt this program. Load into phone & run and if successful, you should be able to see codes 48 to 57, pressing different areas of the screen.
Keycodes.jar installed in phone returns the key codes for the buttons on the phone. A1200 codes: up=-1,down=-2,left=-3,right=-4,fire=-5,volume up=-30,vol down=-31, smartkey=-5. No codes were reported camera, vr, send & end buttons.
I was trying to find a code that would bring up the pop up keyboard when needed, but have not been successful.

I have tried it and got it ... but one little problem ... when i have used the keycodes.jar i got the left soft key as -6 and right softkey as -7 so i have used the same values and adapted a file but when i use the left and right soft nothing happens except that everything is fine ...... like the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 key are working fine ... so any suggestions ????

I try with Realfootball 2006. my setting is

Motorola Touchscreen (style2).
Screen size 240x320 A1200,E6
from nokia.
another is default setting.

and result is game still have no touchscreen support. I try soft touch and hard touch but nowhere on screen that response to my touch.

hey eakrin...i just downloaded the same game...it works but the screen is horrible..ill attach the files...just see if its the same game

My 2006 RealFootball have 313k filesize. but your 2006Realfootball have only 72K. it totally different. BUt after I install it into phone. It should be the same game. BUT your version have very small screen size but can touch screen. my version always 240x320 size but cannot touch screen

I also try with my last time favorite MIDlet Paris Hilton's Diamond Quest with A1200 setting. It can use touch screen to move cursor but still got a wrong code setting. like press top left but cursor move right etc.

may be it's the same reason as use Java Magic. It can modidng some MIDlet not all. I'll try another MDIlets.

Here is a Touchscreen version of kingkong.

difficult to play with finger or fingers. but easy tap with stylus. I don't know this version kingkong can jump while climbing like in E680 version.

becareful about screen damage when your tap on screen.

after testing more midlet. Paris hilton's Diamod Quest still doesn't work. she need to reconfig Num0-Num9 button code. her screen after mod with normal A1200 setting have key code like this

Top - Left
Center Right -
Bottom - -
LeftSoft - RightSoft

a (-) button is button that she doesn't response. so I can't find keycode.

added new style 1 for motorola touch-screen


with new style you can not only pressing stylus on touch screen, but you have move your stylus

for example

pressing stylus in any part of touch screen work as "5"
movement of stylus from left to right - "6"
movement of stylus from right to left - "4"
movement stylus upwards - "2"
movement stylus downwards - "8"

Style 2 same as in version 2.0.0.1
