The attachments are not there... as given in the announcements, it will take some time to re-up the attachments from the old site... so till then, i can't try the program on my 08p generic. The pc says, it needs usbnet drivers. Anyone out there with the driver in their mailbox???

    :chetan:..........

Downloaded the file given by chetan, only thing i needed was the usblan drivers, i had all the other files....got that from chetan's post.... thanx a lot chetan...

    Steps:

    Download USBNetworking.zip from

    http://www.mediafire.com/?0lydl9tbmj0
    or
    http://files-upload.com/files/517628...Networking.zip
    or
    http://rapidshare.com/files/57287047...rking.zip.html

    & unzip it...

    1) Install FullScrVideo.jar IN YOUR MOBILE ( Found in FullScrVideo.zip)

    2) Install motovision11.pkg IN YOUR MOBILE(Found in motovision11.zip)

    3)Restart your mobile

    4) Install the Mobile vision PC suite from http://www.mobilevision.net.cn/mvds/...tFrameWork.exe IN YOUR PC ( I installed with dot net framework version... i don't kno about without dot net version... but heard that the without dot net version has some problem... but the more you try, the more you fail, & the more you know, so you can try installing the without dot net version).

5)In your mobile, go to setup->USB mode, & select Modem

6)Connect the mobile to the PC via the USB cable... & then click on the motovision icon in your mobile. There will be a prompt in your PC that "new hardware found", & then it will ask you to install the drivers for it... a new dialog window will open. on the dialog window, select
"no, not at this time", & click next

7)In the next page, select "install from a list or specific location & click next"

In the next page, check on the box "include this location in the search", click on browse, & point to the unzipped "USB Networking" folder. Click on next. The PC will automatically install the drivers. Click on finish. Disconnect the mobile & Restart the PC.( XP might need a reboot to reload the drivers, so its better to reboot the PC).

9)After the restarting the PC, connect the mobile to PC again, click on the "motovision" icon in the mobile, nothing will happen. Now click on the Mobile Vision PC suite icon in your PC (Start->All Programs->Motovision PC suite->Motovision PC suite). It will open a window, on which there will be an IP address like 192.168.16.2, & there will be a button beside it, click on the icon. Wait untill it says "1.1.0 for Motorola EZX phone build for 1000 Connected". The program will show the screen of your Mobile.

10)Now click on the "webcam" icon in your mobile. This will activate, the full screen webcam in your mobile. & the corresponding screen will be shown in the motovision program in your PC.

Any further clarifications, on any steps, & you can always PM me, or leave a reply here...

BTW, I'm Running windows XP SP2, & the FW of my motoming is 08p generic.

The steps described, are all that i did for setting up the webcam... & this works for MSN & YAHOO for me. I didn't check for other IMs.

Thnx to chetan again for the driver files....

  9. Default Need your help <b>chetan</>

    I need help.
When i MDVS.exe it opens a window, as expected, but with a error written on it " can't open motovision data provider device".
Whereas after while installing the same software, two DOS files were automatically executed, 1- installmv.bat and 2- installdp.bat. And both shows success status in the end.
And when i opened the log file is says -

10:35:35|ERROR:System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'wmutil.dll': This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)
    at MVDS.WMUtil.GetInfo(RAPI_DEVICEINFO& deviceInfo, RAPI_CONNECTIONINFO& target)
    at MVDS.WMUtil.GetDeviceInfo()
    at MVDS.MainForm.WM_DeviceDetectThread()

    --------------
    FW - 46p C2 Track.

I did all the steps claimed by many people. Now i am tried.

    Please help.

    @ veerender,

did you change the USB mode of your mobile to the USBLAN MODE??

Do one thing, CONNECT the mobile to computer...right click on my computer, click on properties, click on the hardware tab of the system properties window, click on device manager, click on the + sign beside network adapters...

Is the motorola device listed under the network adaptors... if yes, is there any exclamation mark on the icon??.... if yes, right click on it, click on update, & select the update source as given in my earlier post...

    hope it works...
