Seems that our author has moved:
    http://tinyurl.com/3xp3b3

Anyway I managed to setup an account here:
    http://bbs.mofan.mobi/index.php?
    (You can register in English)

New version is 3.1.26 which I've uploaded to RapidShare
    http://rapidshare.de/files/38086505/...w3126.zip.html

I can't install it at the moment ( my phone doesn't seem to do upgrades and I don't want to lose my bookmarks), but will be trying it later to see if there's anything good going on. Enjoy!

    Just to follow up:
New version includes the ability to open text files in either Unicode or UTF-8 format. The author has also added the ability to password protect the program, an auto-shutdown feature, and more interface tweaks. Oh, and a new icon too.

Great application, you know, The JPG viewer is the best for this phone, just take time to load big pictures, but quality is the best, perhaps the author wants add Zoom for JPG and auto orientation, plus quicker load ... will be the BEST!

The picture viewer of the phone (A1200 native) is really bad when shows big pictures

    Thanks

For big file, maybe you can try A1200 photo editor. Not perfect but better.

Sorry, but I dont think it's better, it does the job of showing full screen picture in great quality, but in Any view, you can surf in full screen all the pictures in the folder.

A1200 Photo Editor works with only photo at once, and you have to do many steps for get fullscreen ...

Really, we need a good photo viewer ... all of us, this phone has a very good screen and there is not a decent application for picture viwer yet.

    Thanks

    Question

I have read this entire thread but still I couldn't make it work here in my A 1200i.
I can see the files but I can't open them.
It shows a message: require TEXt/REAd, but SDoc/SilX found
In the bottom it shows 0% the current time and my memory that is a value between 100k and 180k.
I wonder if it is a problem with my microSD which is an original sandisk 128Mb. (I had that problem of unaccessible transflash memory that is fixed with the master reset.) I am going to buy a kingston 2Gb this month.
Besides, a lot of unidentified characters show in the main menu screen even after changing the language to english.
BTW, I have not changed my firmware as well, could it be another reason?

Sounds more like an incompatible file format than a phone/program problem. What kind of file are you trying to open? Anyview is good with .txt files, but not so good with other formats. Try to open some plaln text files just to make sure Anyview is working. Otherwise try the program FBReader, which can handle more file formats than Anyview.

    That could be it.
I was looking for a program to read .pdb text formats.
I was able to open a .txt file.
Does this other application works for .pdb formats?
It´s the standard for Isilo that only works in palm and pocket PC

Well. Seems that FBReader doesn't support .pdb files.
And Anyview should support. It recognizes the file, but fails to open it. Now what?
