Indeed, this file my wife saved in windows on her work. She dont remember how exactly she did it. I have try to save this text on my linux computer in OOWriter, but I got only unreadable blank squares.
Here is a file with readable text and bug mentioned earlier.
And one more question: i have menu "open as" whith inactive grey lines of encoding names, is it normal?
The text displays ok for me -so looks like something wrong with your install. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. And make sure you open file with "Open with.." and select "UTF8"

New version of our favorite reader is out with quite a few new features, including:
Auto Scroll
Better.pdb (Palm doc) support
Better customization
You can grab it here:
http://www.ismyway.com/down.asp?id=62
Installation tips:
Kiwiguy's AnyView installation guide works just fine here so just follow that:
http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=12824
If you are still having problems getting the read/write permissions right, you may also want to read this:
http://www.ismyway.com/Program/Anyvi..._en/index.html
Once you start the program, select A1200, then press the left soft key. At this point you'll probably want to get it running in English. Just select the left soft key(Menu), scroll to 4, then select 3.
Also be AWARE that you will probably lose your bookmarks for any books you are currently reading. There may be a way to backup this info, but I didn't attempt this.
Enjoy gang!

With this new version it allows you to change languages inside the application with the choices being:
1. Chinese
2. Chinese TW
3. English
4. Russian
I have uploaded latest version (3.1.21) with Help file changed to English. Just download and unzip to get jar file.
As JohnnyJapes noted, once installed:
1. run javahacker to change permissions
2. Do a Change permissions to force permission change to take
3. Start app and do:
Menu --> 4 --> 3 to change language to English
Note: There is a new option to "Flash Backlight" which causes screen to rapidly flash! Only way to turn it off is to exit application.

Version 3.1.22 is out, but this minor update seems to be more for the Symbian/UIQ crowd than for us.

Of note though, you can save your bookmarks by simply copying the files Fairyavbookmark.db and Fairyavbookmark.idx, (located in Anyview's installation folder), before deleting your previous version. Then after your new installation is complete, just copy/overwrite those two files to the new Anyview folder. This is of course useful to those of us who's phones don't do Java updates of programs successfully and can't stand losing their places.
