Thanks for the translation onlinetiger - and for your translation work, Tagallo!!

I tried to figure out how the Uninstall function works - but no luck. When I click on the Uninstall (left) button it shows the screen that was translated as "Switching to Uninstall mode" then it shows the following screen - it then hangs for about 3 seconds then takes me to my Home screen.

Nothing appears to have been unistalled. Maybe this is an error msg - as I would expect a list of apps to be displayed to choose which one to Uninstall?? Same thing happens when I press the middle button (Run).

Tagallo - did you get this function working?? Any idea what this screen says?

wait until tomorrow, i'm finishing the translation of the entire app, so you can install the english version...

the uninstallation method works this way:
open smartass, select uninstall mode, now click and hold on the app you want to uninstall, uninstall option should be available now in the quick menu, click, uninstall
switch back to run mode.

Explanation:
when you are on the normal operation mode (run mode), the uninstall option is disabled in the quick menu of that app, so you have to use uninstall mode.
in uninstall mode you cannot run any program, if you try to do so a error message will popup, but in uninstall mode the uninstall option is available in the quick menu.

Got it - thanks. Works fine on my 53p fw.

So basically it works like a lock/unlock function for the Uninstall option in the Quick menu for PKG apps (whether installed by SmartAss, Superman or MPKG).

One small point - the apps I tried (capture, Java hacker) still seem to run whether in Uninstall or Run mode - the only thing that changes is the "Uninstall" becomes available.

great! i just tried two apps (don't remember which) and they did not run. Maybe were the apps or my FW, don't know.

translation done folks!!
this is my first release, and my english is not so good, and I don't speak chinese, so be gentle with me! lol
if you have any sugestions please ask. I tested it with small fonts, and all fits well, with medium font mostly things fits ok, and haven't tested with big fonts... but i tried to make the translations as small as possible.

Ok i've downloaded but can't figure how to install, run smartass.lin with superman but nothing happens and neither understand the manual install my fw is 24xp, sorry my poor english

Installation process is the manual described in the first page.
basicly you can just copy .system over the one in your SD, but that will erase all your installed app in the SD.
to not erase existing programs, copy just the smartassist directory inside .system/QTDownloads to the same dir in SD... then copy the contents of registry file in Java dir, to the registry file in SD (also in Java dir), do not erase anything in this file, just append the content you copied to the end of file.

sounds more difficult than what really is.

to make sure you can fix things if something goes bad, backup your .system dir to your pc before do any modification.
