i connected it in modem mode and it jst turned blue for a long while and no green, do i need to have specific drivers or something installed?
Do this, close radiocomm, unplug you phone from the computer.. Restart your phone. Launch radiocomm, and then plug your phone back in. See if you get the green, if not then you can try hyperterminal.

I got this from Alpha's sticky on Modding the phone.
"# Unzip RadioComm file and install it on your PC.
If you get the message that you have to install microsoft .net framework then cancel the install and go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en and download the .net work framwork and install it. Reboot PC and try to install RadioComm again.
    # Start RadioComm. It will display a settings window. Enter MA = GSM and Settings = M-Link USB driver
    # You should now see the main RadioComm panel. It should have a red "Radio Detection" button on the top right and you should see a Red square down in the taskbar icons area. When these turn green this indicates that the progam has detected the phone (radio) correctly.
    # Now close down RadioComm.
    # On your phone go to Setup --> USB mode and select "Modem".
    # Connect your phone to PC via USB cable and start Radiocomm,
    # Select connection mode as USB if the software asks for it.
    # If your phone does not seem to be detected, go to Setup --> USB mode on the phone (while still plugged in) and select "USB Net". If still nothing, set back to "Modem".
    # When your phone is detected for the first time, a prompt may appear asking to install drivers. Select Yes and install the driver. This wil be repeated about 20 times so be patient!
    # You may have to reboot the system after all drivers are installed and restart RadioComm.
    # You will know when it has detected the phone correctly when the Radio Detection button on the right turns green. "

This step by step worked perfectly for me. Try to uninstall Radiocomm and install it again. There are some drivers that I also installed. I'm not sure if that's why it worked perfect for me or not. I think the drivers are in the download section of the Ming Wiki.

Let us know how it works out.

The network time feature connects to your mobile provider and updates the time automatically. It updates for Daylight savings time.

    Glad the instructions worked!

I can't seem to get the green light... it's always red...
I've followed every step and wasn't successful...

I noticed something that nobody has mentioned before...
When I plug my phone to my computer (either Mass Storage or Modem mode), sometimes it starts charging the phone... and sometimes it doesn't start charging the phone... either way, when I launch Radiocomm, I still have the red light..

Any advice would be good... I've search this forum inside and out...
I just want the green light... damnit

Did this tonight, as for some reason I haven't been able to bring up seems when I try to edit them in the past.

Ran the script, and the VM bug is fixed! Auto network time is working too, so that's another huge bonus... I was mostly annoyed with the stupid blank text messages.

    Thanks Alpha!

after following all steps ie.green light, load script, name it, press set, and click x, following message occurs.

Sending 'RDELEM' command with data '0032000100000001' to the radio...
    Sent to radio:
    TC Send Header: 0000002000080000
    TC Send Data: 0032000100000001

    Returned from radio:
    TC Receive Header:
    TC Receive Data:

    RDELEM ==>FAILED
    Driver answer ==> 267
Error Description ==> Failed attempt to send test command, Test Command Interface is not present.
Time to execute command: 0 seconds.
Command timeout set to : 15 seconds.

Got the same here... BTW, MPT only detects it with BT. USB rarely works...

as to the charging and not, you could try rebooting, just for this, to start from a clean starting point.

For me radiocomm only detects my phone when I plug it in, AND the phone makes the connect sound, I wait a few seconds and THEN start radiocomm. Radiocomm never detects mine when I have it running first. Even when I restart the phone in radiocomm, it won't recognize it when the phone restarts.
