hey man im glad you're from Vzla too... in this section of the forum we cant speak other than english (so everybody can understand and help)...
Unfortunately we cant not run WM under this device due to architecture limitation... also there are a couple office apps... word and excel havent tested myself but you can grab'em from the download section... also read the Guide to Modding in the stickies and you'll find a lot of resources for the Ming...
About games.. ill email you some, since im not a gamer, but i have a few laying around my HDD,

Accept the facts... Windows is the Lead OS man... And don't joke like you cant's see it.. Even with all this angry over MS stuff you'll not change this fact! Why to hate windows? Cose this is a crap and cose they want money? Don't you like munny bro? Or do you work for free? And yes, many people here WANTS run WM on their mings, not to use it as the MAIN os (not bad once the A1200 GUI is not so good), but to prove that EZX is superior than it... I think this is the spirit... and is what we want here... freedom and peace...

Hidro, espero estes bien yo tambien soy de Venezuela, por eso escribo de una vez en Español, tu me podrias decir si a este MING A-1200 se le puede instalar windows mobile 5.0 o mayor?, recien el viernes me he comprado el telefono pero me di cuenta que solo lee los archivos de word y excel, a mi me interesa editar tambien crees que me puedas indicar tambien donde puedo descargarlos gratis??, he probado con E-MULE pero solo consigo una especie de actualización y no el programa, además solo trae un par de juegos, entiendo que las aplicaciones soportan JAVA y deben ser punto .jar para que se instalen donde puedo conseguir juegos o tu tendrás alguno que me puedas donar si no es mucho abuso, mi correo de hotmail es raffimy@hotmail.com si algo de esto puedes hacer por mi te agradecería la ayuda

Ravefolk its right. WM its the king of the OS for SmartPhones. And Linux OS will be faster but, in the OS kingdom, the COMPATIBILY ITS ALL!!!! Thats why in windows xp u can play all the games, thats why in the playstation 3 u can play games of PS1 and PS2. Thats why people LOVE when the software evolves but u can use old programs or all the games u love.

I would LOVE if i can ran MS Word or MS Excel in the Ming. Till the day, no-one bring an app that its in the same level. Sorry but its the truth

Pf... holywar... WM slow.. WM 6.0 should be named WM 5.2, wait till Moto relised Developers tools, and we will got Word and others.. I'm sure, WM not so great as it look.

On my home PC on openSuse i can play WOW and others games.. For real MS are dying slowly

in summary WM is better than Linux right now. But the phones that run WM are not good enough.

Yes guys come on!!! Linux without the common software and apps sucks. Yes its fast ok, but WHAT DO U EARN WITH A FAST OS BUT NO GOOD APPS TO USE??!! Ok ok u can play games like WOW in the Suse but ALL THE OTHER GAMES IN THE WORLD?????

Regarding WM nobody rejects Linux cose its new (thats a lie). If u had all the apps u have for WM in EZX then Windows Mobile would die, cose EZX is faster and more estable. BUT THIS DONT HAPPEN!!!! Im working for Motorola and i can see how they spend DAYS MONTH YEARS till they release a f... model and when they do it, its only in Asia. They are all time afraid of customers reaccion. Now the only way to get a Ming in the US and America is overseas. So Microsoft still rules in the kingdom of the smart phones... u like it or not. Anyway, i hope that changes and they release developers tools for EZX finally some day (i think we gonna die waiting xD)

Hey ant... i think WM is not the KING... for me the king still bein' Symbian... WM is more compatible, but the customer preference for Symbian still huge!!!
I think this is why moto'll release the Z8... ilked EZX very much and i'm planning to switch to an E6. But i'm thinkin' in buy a Z8 too. MOTO SUCKS... the only hope for descent apps in our mings are ourselves and nobody else...
